FyberCom – Fiber Infrastructure Technician
Position Overview
Our Fiber Infrastructure Technicians support field operations by preparing work sites, assisting with material handling, and operating equipment used in underground and aerial fiber installation. This role involves hands‑on work in various outdoor environments and requires strong communication skills and physical capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and organize work areas at project sites
- Load, transport, and stage materials or equipment
- Use basic hand tools and equipment throughout the workday
- Perform utility exposure tasks (such as potholing) to support installation work
- Assist with equipment operation as needed during daily tasks
- Support field crews with material handling, movement, and general labor duties
Skills & Requirements
- Ability to clearly communicate with team members and follow instructions
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willing to operate different types of equipment as needed throughout the day
- Capable of performing physically demanding tasks including climbing, lifting, pulling, pushing, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials
- Able to lift 50–100 lbs intermittently as part of daily duties
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
