- Position is contingent upon contract award**
On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm at NOAA SSMC Campus in Silver Spring, MD with some work also performed in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
- Lead overall delivery, quality, and budget performance for the full contractor team supporting NOAA's Office of Education.
- Serve as the primary liaison to the government's contract leadership, keeping work aligned with requirements and deadlines.
- Direct and support staff across communications, grants, outreach, data, and program-operations functions.
- Track labor hours and travel spending, delivering monthly burn-rate reports and flagging budget risks early.
- Spot performance, schedule, and cost risks ahead of time and put mitigation plans in place to keep support running smoothly.
- Produce monthly progress reports and lead recurring kickoff, coordination, and annual review meetings.
- May be required to travel to other NOAA locations within the Washington, DC metro area (e.g., NOAA Headquarters in Washington, DC) and/or other DOC/DOC bureau locations within the metro.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in an associated field.
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience, at least two (2) of which must be in a supervisory role.
