JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking a highly motivated Deposit Operations
Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong
attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to
work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Quality Control:
Perform quality checks on transactions to ensure accuracy and
completeness. Responsible for new account and closed account review.
Processes mobile/remote deposit verification. General Ledger (GL)
Processing: Process GL transactions, including researching rejected
transactions. Account Maintenance: Perform reviews of account
maintenance tasks such as address changes, account closures, debit card
maintenance, and updates to customer information record. Customer
Service: Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to
deposit accounts in a professional and courteous manner. Regulatory
Compliance: Ensure compliance with banking regulations, including
Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements
Risk Management: Identify and report potential risks related to deposit
operations. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such
as customer service, compliance, and IT to resolve issues, provide
backup, and improve processes. Documentation: Maintain accurate records
and documentation of transactions, customer interactions, and
operational procedures. Process Improvement: Recommend and implement
process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Training: Complete required training assigned by compliance/IT. Provide
training and support to new employees or team members as needed.
