Are you a heavy civil expert ready to lead high-stakes, complex foundation projects?

• Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with over 10 years of specialized experience in deep excavation, Support of Excavation (SOE), and foundation work.
• We are looking for a proactive leader who thrives on technically demanding, high-visibility projects and takes pride in delivering exceptional results safely, on time, and within budget.
• As a key member of our operations team, you will not just manage projects you will drive strategy, mentor talent, and build the structural foundations of our city.

What You ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Lead Technical Execution: Assume full ownership of project planning and execution for complex deep excavation and foundation scopes.
• Master SOE Systems: Oversee the design, installation, and quality compliance of secant piles, caissons, soldier pile and lagging systems, and structural bracing (walers, struts, rakers).
• Drive Project Controls: Develop detailed schedules in Primavera P6/MS Project, manage budgeting, cost control, and change order negotiations.
• Geotechnical & Logistics Strategy: Interpret structural and geotechnical reports to optimize site logistics, soil classifications, and excavation methods.
• Leadership & Safety: Mentor field operations staff and superintendents, ensuring strict adherence to OSHA 30 standards and project safety protocols.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and subcontractors, facilitating resolution of on-site issues and technical challenges.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Experience: 10 years of construction project management experience, specifically emphasizing excavation, SOE, and deep foundations.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience with secant piles, caissons, and steel bracing systems.
• Education: Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Software Proficiencies: Expertise in Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Preferred: OSHA 30, PMP Certification, DFI training, or EIT/PE license.
