Electrical Engineer – 3–10 Years Experience
Location: Lebanon, OH
Position Overview:
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with 3–10 years of experience to support the design and execution of commercial, industrial, and/or infrastructure projects. This role will contribute to electrical system design, coordination, and project delivery while working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems
- Prepare construction documents, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Perform electrical calculations (load, short circuit, voltage drop) and equipment selection
- Support project coordination with architects, mechanical engineers, and clients
- Conduct site visits, field investigations, and construction support (RFIs, submittals, punch lists)
- Ensure designs comply with NEC codes and applicable standards
- Participate in design reviews, QA/QC processes, and project meetings
- Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and technical documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- 3–10 years of relevant experience (MEP consulting, industrial, or power systems preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software
- Working knowledge of power systems, lighting design, and electrical layouts
- Strong understanding of NEC and industry standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
- EIT certification or progress toward PE (Ohio preferred)
- Experience with SKM, ETAP, or other electrical analysis tools
- Exposure to healthcare, commercial, or data center projects
- Ability to mentor junior engineers (for 7–10 year candidates)
Salary : $85,000 - $115,000
