Civil Engineer (EIT) – 3–5 Years Experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer (EIT) with 3–5 years of experience to join our growing team in Houston. This role will support the planning, design, and execution of a variety of civil engineering projects, including land development, infrastructure, and site design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and preparation of civil engineering plans, including grading, drainage, paving, and utilities
- Perform site layout, stormwater management, and erosion control design
- Support project managers with project coordination, scheduling, and client communication
- Prepare calculations, reports, and technical specifications
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience (land development preferred)
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Familiarity with Houston-area codes and permitting processes is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with hydrology/hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, Hydraflow)
- Exposure to TxDOT or municipal projects
- Progression toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
