Mechanical Designer – HVAC / Plumbing Systems

Responsibilities
- Develop detailed HVAC and plumbing system layouts in Revit
- Produce construction drawings and coordinated BIM models
- Assist engineers with equipment selection and system layouts
- Coordinate with other disciplines including electrical, plumbing, and architecture
- Maintain project drawing standards and quality control procedures
- Participate in project coordination meetings
- Revise drawings based on redlines and client comments
- Assist with field verification and as-built documentation when needed
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in mechanical drafting/design within the MEP industry
- Strong proficiency in Revit MEP
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Understanding of HVAC and plumbing system design principles
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on healthcare, education, or commercial projects
- Familiarity with BIM coordination processes
- Associate’s Degree or technical drafting/design background preferred
Salary : $70,000 - $95,000
