We are award-winning and MEP consulting firm that is searching for a Electrical Designer for our Charlotte NC office in the Southeast region of the United States.

As an Electrical Designer / Engineer, you’ll lead the design and coordination of electrical systems that power the spaces where people live, learn, work, and heal. You'll work with a collaborative team on projects from concept through construction, and you'll play a key role in engaging with clients, and delivering innovative solutions that drive sustainability and performance.
What You’ll Do
- Design electrical systems: power distribution, lighting, emergency power, UPS, fire alarms, security, communications, and renewable energy systems.
- Participate in all project phases from design and documentation to bidding, construction, and commissioning.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure seamless integration and code compliance.
- Review submittals, conduct site visits, and support construction administration.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor Degree
- 5 years’ experience designing electrical systems for the built environment. Project experience submitted for consideration should include buildings on which you have actively participated in the project from the design phase through the final construction close-out.
- Strong working knowledge of building and energy codes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to organize and present design information to clients.
- Special consideration will be given to those candidates who have successfully demonstrated innovative design experience specifically related to renewable energies and sustainable, high performing buildings.
- Working knowledge of Revit preferred.
