We're hiring a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair fleet vehicles while ensuring safety, reliability, and maximum uptime. This role involves preventive maintenance, diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and supporting junior mechanics.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on fleet vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Maintain vehicle safety and operational readiness.
- Assist and mentor less experienced mechanics.
- Follow all safety and maintenance procedures.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering (or related field) preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of mechanical maintenance experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Diesel engine experience preferred.
- Brake Certification or Refrigerant Recovery Certification is a plus.
- Stable work history preferred (1–2 years with current employer).
