1620 Cannabis is a premium cannabis brand focused on delivering high-quality products and elevated customer experiences. As we expand across the Chicagoland area, we are seeking a professional, knowledgeable Brand Ambassador to represent our brand in dispensaries and at events.
Position Overview
The Brand Ambassador will serve as the face of 1620 Cannabis in the field. This role requires someone who can confidently engage customers, educate budtenders, and build strong relationships that influence purchasing decisions.
This is a contract role with flexible scheduling and travel throughout Chicago and surrounding suburbs.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent 1620 Cannabis in dispensaries, pop-ups, and brand activations
- Educate budtenders and customers on product features, benefits, and usage
- Drive brand awareness and influence purchasing decisions at the retail level
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dispensary staff and managers
- Support in-store promotions, demos, and merchandising efforts
- Travel between multiple locations throughout Chicagoland
Requirements
- Prior Brand Ambassador experience required (cannabis industry preferred)
- Strong understanding of cannabis products (live resin, distillate, concentrates, etc.)
- Reliable vehicle, insurance, and valid driver’s license REQUIRED
- Willingness to travel throughout Chicago and surrounding suburbs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, punctual, and self-motivated
- Availability for evenings and weekends as needed
Compensation & Structure
- $25–$33/hour (contract), based on experience and performance
- Mileage reimbursement
- Flexible scheduling based on activations and events
