We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre K Assistant Teacher with at least two years of experience to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Support children’s social, emotional, and behavioral development through positive guidance and behavior management techniques
- Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, naps, and transitions to ensure safety at all times
- Help facilitate age-appropriate learning experiences that promote curiosity, creativity, and exploration
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and behavior updates
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years’ experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or classroom setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Experience with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR required or willing to obtain upon hire
- Familiarity with special education needs and working with children with disabilities preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members, parents, and caregivers
- Passion for nurturing young children’s growth through engaging activities and compassionate caregiving
