Pay Scale: Base salary is $6,000 per month, plus substantial commission opportunities based on dealership performance, sales results, and other factors. Typical monthly earnings range from $6,000 to $12,000, with top performers earning significantly more during high-volume sales periods.

What You'll Do
As an Assistant Sales Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in driving team performance, customer satisfaction, and dealership profitability.
Responsibilities include:
- Coach, train, mentor, and motivate sales professionals to achieve individual and team goals
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and developing top sales talent
- Support daily sales operations and ensure appropriate staffing levels
- Help establish and achieve monthly sales, gross profit, and customer satisfaction objectives
- Work side-by-side with sales consultants to structure and close deals
- Provide real-time coaching that improves performance and customer experience
- Monitor key performance indicators and develop action plans for continuous improvement
- Promote accountability while maintaining a positive, high-energy culture
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and applicable state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with Finance, Service, Parts, and Administrative teams to create a seamless customer experience
- Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to dealership growth initiatives

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of automotive sales leadership experience
- Proven ability to develop and coach sales professionals
- Strong desk management and deal-closing skills
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Results-driven mindset with a passion for achieving goals
- Lead by example and foster a positive team culture
- Valid California Driver's License
- Valid California Salesperson License
