Commercial Division Leader
Location: Cleburne, TX (Dallas-Fort Worth Market)
Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 Base Up to 15% Bonus (OTE $150,000)
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Division Leader to drive growth, profitability, and strategic expansion within our commercial construction business. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for commercial development, division P&L performance, general contractor relationships, bid strategy, and building a scalable commercial team.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial construction, pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB), steel construction, or related industries, along with a proven ability to develop contractor relationships and lead profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand relationships with General Contractors (GCs) that generate qualified commercial project opportunities.
- Own the commercial sales pipeline from prospecting through bid submission and project award.
- Lead bid strategy, margin management, and project selection to ensure profitable growth.
- Build and lead a high-performing commercial team, including future business development and account management personnel.
- Provide clear reporting on pipeline activity, bid volume, win rates, profitability, and operational risks.
- Support long-term division growth initiatives and market expansion efforts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial construction sales, business development, operations, or division leadership.
- Strong background in PEMB, metal buildings, steel construction, commercial construction, or related markets.
- Demonstrated success developing and maintaining General Contractor relationships.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing margins, bids, and project selection.
- Ability to lead teams, develop talent, and build scalable business processes.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growth and operational excellence.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $110,000 - $130,000
- Performance Bonus: Up to 15% based on division profitability
