Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Sanford, NC. The RBT will provide direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to individuals with developmental disabilities, primarily those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This role involves implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help clients improve communication, social, and daily living skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the supervising BCBA
- Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy sessions
- Collect and accurately record data on client progress and behaviors
- Assist in skill acquisition programs (communication, social, self-care)
- Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based strategies
- Maintain professional communication with supervisors, caregivers, and team members
- Follow all ethical and professional guidelines for ABA services
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients
Qualifications:
- Current RBT certification in good standing (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred)
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow structured treatment plans and collect detailed data
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally if needed
Work Schedule:
- Full-time (typically 30–40 hours per week)
