We are currently building out our national sales footprint and are seeking a driven Regional Sales Manager for our Mid-Atlantic territory.
Position Overview:
As the Regional Sales Manager for the Mid-Atlantic, you will manage a highly concentrated territory with an established industrial sales culture. Operating with an industrial customer focus, you will be the face in the region, driving revenue and supporting our distribution network. You will manage vendors, negotiate for the best value, and work directly with our engineering, sales, and production teams to keep projects moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory Coverage: Oversee and grow the Mid-Atlantic sales territory, which includes NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, and VA.
- Target Industry Focus: Penetrate key industrial sectors within the region, specifically driving sales growth in Pharmaceuticals, Refining, Steel, and Logistics.
- Distributor Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing dealers and distributors. Support their sales efforts and identify new distribution partners to expand market penetration.
- Travel & Routing: Manage territory travel efficiently, operating within a maximum 8-hour drive radius from the Philadelphia, PA hub.
Qualifications & Skills
- Industrial Sales Experience: At least 3 to 5 years of proven experience in B2B industrial sales.
- Specialized Knowledge: Experience with overhead cranes and distributor sales is highly preferred.
- Industry Alignment: Familiarity and existing relationships within our key regional verticals—Pharmaceuticals, Refining, Steel, and Logistics—is a major plus.
- Autonomy & Organization: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working autonomously from a remote home office while managing a 6-state geographic territory.
- Travel Ability: Willingness to travel regularly across the designated territory to visit distributors and end-user sites.
