Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) – Generalist for a contract assignment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in general laboratory testing with strong blood bank experience and hold a current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) license.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized clinical laboratory testing.
- Conduct testing in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, urinalysis, and blood bank/transfusion services.
- Analyze, interpret, and report laboratory results accurately and promptly.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory quality assurance and safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) license.
- Previous generalist laboratory experience.
- Required blood bank experience.
- Current TB clearance completed within the past 12 months.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Salary : $50 - $55
