C&L Sanitation is expanding, and we're looking for reliable, hard-working individuals to join our team as Flex Drivers with a Class A or B license. In this essential role, you will cover pump, roll-off, trailer delivery, and/or P&D routes as needed when other drivers are absent. You may also fill in on the yard, including moving units, equipment, supplies, and other merchandise from one location to another. Or perhaps you will complete minor maintenance on trailers and toilets or complete additional projects when slow.

We are looking for a total Utility Player! What You'll Do:

• As our Flex driver you will cover pump, roll-off, trailer delivery and/or P&D routes as needed when other drivers are absent. Ensure units returned to yard are in good, working condition, including brand stickers, cleaned, and all repairs completed.
• Facilitate last minute deliveries, pick-ups and services, some after-hours emergent deliveries, and services may be required.
• Meet all safety standards by abiding by all transportation laws, company policies, and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Oversee special event deliveries and pickups.
• Properly troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair units and facilities.
• Ensure yard and facility are clean (no rivets, trash, etc.), organized, and secured before leaving.
• Empty holding tanks, including clean and disinfect areas affected by sewer or septic.
• Performs other related duties as required.

What You'll Bring:

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
• Must be at least 21 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures without constant supervision
• Good communication skills to interact with dispatch, customers, and team members
• Experience with or willingness to learn how to operate and maintain portable sanitation units and trucks

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 75-100 pounds
• Able to stretch, pull, climb, and crawl as needed to access units
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Able to stay alert and focused while driving for long periods
• Willing and able to work around strong odors and waste
