Position Overview
Supports the cleanup and mapping of legacy data to future HCM system. Evaluates technical impact of changes/improvement to existing business processes. Supports development/refinement of functional requirements and customer acceptance criteria for the future HCM system.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with the team to analyze legacy HR data, drive data cleanup, and promote adherence to the client’s data quality standards and data governance principles
- Support the analysis of system technical functionality against business processes
- Provide technical expertise to the client on data mapping and conversion logic to meet client’s business requirements
Required Skills
- Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with full lifecycle system implementation projects, preferably for an Intel community customer
- Advanced experience with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Intermediate experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with data analysis
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams of business analysts, management consultants, data scientists, system engineers, and program managers
- Experience with task planning and decomposition to deliver finished work products on schedule that meet customer quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication for documentation and collaboration
Desired Skills
- Bachelor’’s degree in computer science, data science, or related technical discipline
- At least 2 years of experience in data wrangling or data cleanup
- Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases
- Knowledge of federal HR processes and data standards
- Strong understanding of systems architecture
- Experience with PeopleSoft HCM and/or PeopleSoft HCM implementation
- Strong knowledge of data management, data lineage, and data governance principles
- Experience with MS Visio and data visualization software (Power BI or Tableau)
- Experience facilitating task planning and decomposition for government customers
- Experience creating and delivering executive-level PowerPoint presentations (to include text, tables and graphic content)
