Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Finance Budget Officer. This role requires a self-starting professional with extensive experience managing complex budgets and portfolios within the Intelligence Community. The ideal candidate will have recent, hands-on experience with client financial systems, including BASIS, and be capable of working independently with minimal supervision. This is a high-impact position supporting a large and dynamic portfolio, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee a large, complex financial portfolio for the OAI mission.

• Utilize client-specific financial tools (e.g., BASIS) to develop, monitor, and report on budget execution.

• Prepare and present financial data to leadership and stakeholders in support of mission objectives.

• Independently identify and resolve financial discrepancies or issues.

• Provide expert guidance on budget formulation, execution, and closeout processes.

• Ensure compliance with agency financial policies and procedures.

Required Skills

• 
  Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.

• Recent, direct experience with client financial systems, especially BASIS.

• Demonstrated success managing large and complex financial portfolios with minimal oversight.

• Strong knowledge of federal budgeting processes, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.

• Proven ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Desired Skills

• 
  Familiarity with additional client financial tools and reporting mechanisms.

• Ability to quickly adapt to evolving mission and funding priorities.
