Position Overview
All contract personnel are expected to prepare and conduct Sponsor briefings and hands-on technical demonstrations. All contract personnel may be expected to perform hands-on field work and ad hoc lab-specific requirements to include:
- Ability to drive vehicles ranging from utility vehicles to sedans to vans to large trucks (note that CDL license not required)
- Coordinate and escort visitors from Visitor Control Center (VCC) to lab-
- Maintain tracking and communication mechanisms for incoming requirements, cables in/outbound, corporate task questions, and specified metrics as directed by the Sponsor
- Create inventory lists, complete bi-annual accountable reporting for review, and as directed by the Sponsor
- Monitor and maintain various types of equipment onsite that may be customized/local/prototype
- Coordinate with communications/networking to facilitate Sponsor as necessary and as directed
As part of routine contract duties, contract personnel will be required to:
- Lift up to 50 lbs., repeatedly throughout the course of a workday
- Walk in uneven or potentially hazardous terrain
- Climb ladders without additional physical assistance
- Operate hand tools, both motorized and manual, without accommodation
- Apply fine motor skills in low light conditions
- Perform work on elevated platforms.
- Operate fork trucks (certification required) and other equipment
- Connect sensor trailers and cellular-on-wheels trailers to truck hitches and relocate around Sponsor location sites.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining applications, including development of new applications, modification of existing applications, and transition of legacy applications to new technologies.
- Examples include integrating facial recognitions on a cellular phone and updating Al/ML driven applications to correlate multiple streams of data in a user-friendly manner
- Analyzing customer needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of application design within customer's time and cost limitations
- Designing and developing database management systems, image processing, collaborative tools, data manipulation techniques, data visualization techniques, and interfaces with access control services
- Designing and developing tools that integrate with commercial applications
- Developing and executing unit and functional test plans
- Executing software system testing and validation procedures and programming
- Documenting test results in prescribed manner
- Providing data base architectural and design capabilities
- Providing operations and maintenance of operational systems
- Creating or providing end user instructions or manuals
Required Skills
- Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated software development experience
- Requires demonstrated expertise with modern programming languages including Python
- Requires demonstrated experiences leveraging and applying AI/ML technologies
- Requires demonstrated experience with Docker and other virtualization technologies
