Our client has an opening for a full-time Water and Wastewater Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our Environmental Engineering team in any of our five Colorado offices.

- Scopes of work for electrical and I&C systems
- Process and Instrumentation Diagrams
- Control strategies
- Electrical calculations and sizing
- Electrical one-line diagrams
- Electrical site plans, power plans, lighting plans for buildings
- Lightning protection
- Wiring diagrams
- Lighting and power distribution
- Service utility coordination
- Panel Schedules and layout
- UPS/Generator sizing
- Construction cost estimates for electrical and I&C
- Specify PLC SCADA and HMI-based systems
- Radio telemetry SCADA systems using microwave, spread spectrum, licensed MAS, cellular or other radio technologies
- PLCs and associated components
- ISA data sheets and instrument sites
- Technical memorandums and reports
- 5 years electrical, instrumentation and control systems experience in water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations and associated facilities for small to medium size municipalities and special districts
- PE License or ability to obtain within six months of employment
- Experience in Colorado preferred, including design, cost estimates, construction documents and specification preparation
- Knowledge of process instruments, communications networks, and P&ID diagrams
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations and codes for electrical permitting
- Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing your time
