Role Description
This full-time, on-site CNC Lead Programmer role is based in Milwaukee, WI. The CNC Lead Programmer will oversee the creation and optimization of CNC programs, operate and set up CNC machinery, and review technical drawings for feasibility. Day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with the production team on machining processes, ensuring precision and quality in manufacturing, and troubleshooting programming or operational issues. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
- Skills in CNC Programming and Programming principles, with experience in developing and optimizing CNC programs
- Proficiency in Machining, with hands-on experience operating CNC equipment and ensuring adherence to specifications
- Experience in Technical Drawing interpretation for feasibility and design validation
- Expertise in Milling and other advanced manufacturing techniques
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and refine processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a leadership role or supervising CNC operations is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; certifications or training in CNC programming and machining are highly desirable
