What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift - CNC Lead Programmer position at RG&T Solutions?
The CNC Lead position is based in Waukesha, WI, working from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a pay range of $20-$30/hour.
As a CNC Lead, you will operate, maintain, and train staff on horizontal CNC machines, primarily with 3/4-axis capabilities. You will develop and optimize multi-axis programs using CAM software, design fixturing, interpret complex blueprints with GD&T, and conduct program proofing and quality inspections.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with an Associate’s degree preferred, and 2-5 years of CNC programming experience on multi-axis equipment. Proficiency in CAM platforms like Mastercam and SolidWorks, strong shop math skills, and physical ability to perform the work are required. Nice-to-have skills include experience in high-volume manufacturing, robotics troubleshooting, and lean maintenance practices.
