Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, image, and configure new workstations and laptops to client specifications.
- Manage and track workstation orders, ensuring accuracy and readiness for deployment.
- Schedule on-site deployments for yourself or other field technicians as needed.
- Coordinate shipping and logistics for remote users.
- Verify licensing, asset tagging, and documentation compliance.
- Communicate with project managers and account managers to align timelines and budgets.
- Assist with network and server hardware preparation as needed.
- Provide Tier 1–2 help desk support when workstation prep work is light.
Requirements
- Experience in an MSP or IT service environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of Windows workstation setup, imaging, and configuration.
- Familiarity with common RMM and PSA tools (ConnectWise PSA, ConnectWise Automate, NinjaOne, ImmyBot, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on-site work.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, batch) for deployment automation.
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts and hardware.
- Customer-facing experience in field service or IT support.
