Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of the organization.
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and other financial analyses.
- Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning efforts.
- Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations for business decisions.
- Coordinate annual audits and work closely with external accounting partners and advisors.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and develop accounting staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Significant progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting principles.
- Experience overseeing audits and working with external partners.
- Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic mindset with strong business acumen.
- Hands-on leader who is comfortable operating at both a tactical and strategic level.
