Benefits Account Manager
Location: Oklahoma City, OK | In-office
Seeking an experienced employee benefits account manager to service employer group insurance accounts with an independent insurance agency in OKC.
Responsibilities
- Service new and existing employee benefits accounts and respond to client questions.
- Coordinate renewals, enrollment, coverage changes, and billing issues with clients and insurance carriers.
- Partner with producers to provide timely, accurate account support.
- Record commissions, allocate payments to producers, and reconcile carrier commission statements.
- Maintain producer license renewals, carrier appointments, and contracts.
- Keep client records accurate and protect confidential information.
Qualifications
- Prior employee benefits account servicing experience in an insurance agency or brokerage required.
- Working knowledge of employer group medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage.
- Experience coordinating renewals and enrollment and communicating directly with clients and carriers.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Life and health insurance license preferred.
