Position: Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume accounts payable, including entering, coding, and auditing invoices
• Manage accounts receivable and assist with invoicing
• Reconcile vendor statements and ensure accounts are current according to terms
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and respond to inquiries
• Request credits from vendors when needed
• Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations
• Support purchasing with financial data and reporting as needed
• Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and document management
• Assist with special accounting projects and other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications (qualified Candidates Encouraged To Apply)

• 2–3 years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or office support role
• Experience working in a high-volume accounts payable environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Comfortable handling vendor communication and maintaining professional relationships
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and processes
• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Salary starting at $45,000, with flexibility based on experience
