What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Parasail Captain position at Fury Water Adventures St. Augustine?
Fury Water Adventures, known for creating lifetime memories on the beautiful St. Augustine waterways, has an opening for a full-time seasonal Parasail Captain to expand our team. Our parasail season will start mid-March and run through October, weather permitting. Year-round position as Crew on other vessels is available for continued employment past season end.
Requirements:
- Must have a U.S. Coast Guard Master 50 GT or greater Captain License in near coastal waters.
- Candidates must have at least two years of experience as a Parasail Captain; five years is preferred. Prior crew experience is a plus.
- Must be available to work weekends and Holidays!
-Must have a pleasant personality and enjoy interacting with others.
-Must be able to work effectively and calmly under pressure.
-Must be dependable and must have a strong sense of safety awareness.
-Must have good verbal communication skill, attentiveness, flexibility, friendliness, and ability to be a team player.
- Capable of being responsible for the safe operations and safety of all the passengers and crew members during the trip.
-Responsible for maintaining awareness of the surroundings and weather conditions.
-Capable of monitoring and maintaining the general maintenance and up-keep of their assigned state-of-the art vessel and equipment.
Pay:
Variable pay based on daily flyers, photo sales, and tips from passengers.
