Reads and interprets electronic, electrical, and pneumatic blueprints, and applies knowledge of variable voltage DC control systems, solid state controllers, and adjustable speed equipment. Works with gas torch equipment and interfaces with various sensors and devices.

- Test, install, program, assemble, maintain, and repair electronic equipment and components of plant processing operations
- Read and interpret electronic, electrical, and pneumatic blueprints and related drawings or specifications
- Apply knowledge of variable voltage DC control systems, solid state controllers, M-G sets, and rectifiers
- Work with adjustable speed equipment such as magnetic amplifiers, SCRs, and control systems involving microprocessors and programmable controllers
- Use gas torch equipment to perform jobs
- Interface with devices such as thermocouples, RTDs, pressure transducers, load cells, and photoelectric devices
- High school diploma or GED, and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that performs essential functions of this position
- 3-5 years of industrial electrical experience
