Furst-McNess Company is looking to add a full-time Plant Operations Crew Member at our Montezuma, GA location.
Starting Pay: Compensation will be determined by relevant experience and the interview process
Pay Type: Hourly rate with overtime pay, paid bi-weekly
Work Setting: Onsite, working in both outdoor plant operations and indoor production/warehouse environments
Core Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm (with available overtime as needed)

Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload railcars, trucks, and other bulk material shipments
- May operate pallet jack, forklifts, loaders, skid steers, or other material handling equipment
- Assist with warehouse, production, and manufacturing operations as needed
- Perform routine inspections and report equipment maintenance or repair needs
- Maintain accurate weights, measurements, samples, and production records as required
- Follow all company safety policies, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through routine housekeeping activities
- Support preventive maintenance, repairs, and general facility upkeep
- Communicate inventory, material, and operational needs to supervisor(s)
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, general labor, or related experience is preferred
- Experience operating industrial equipment, or willingness to learn and operate equipment safely
- Forklift certification preferred; willingness to obtain certification with company support
- Ability to read, write, and speak English and perform basic math calculations
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork
- Effective teamwork, communication, and reliability skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Willingness and ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs., work at heights, and perform physical tasks in an industrial environment
