Job Purpose
Acknowledges purchase orders and approves payment of invoices to manufacturers.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

1. Review and verify product information provided by manufacturer through acknowledgements.
2. Identify discrepancies and update system in acknowledgement process.
3. Communicate with Sales, C/S, Receiving & Manufacturers to resolve any discrepancies.
4. Review and verify information provided by manufacturer through invoices.
5. Ensures that FLS pay only for merchandise ordered and identifies any discounts and/or
special promotions not printed on invoice.
6. Maintains organized files of merchandise and replacement pieces acknowledged & received.
7. Assists in the distribution of mail as necessary.
8. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
9. Other duties assigned by supervisor.
10. Be open to suggest any ideas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associates Degree with a focus in business administration.
- One year AP experience.
Physical Requirements
This job is an onsite position that operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
