Full-Time Selling Store Manager

Outlet City Furniture is seeking a highly experienced Selling Store Manager for our Manchester location. This is a hands-on, sales-driven leadership role and is strictly for candidates with direct furniture retail experience. Applicants without furniture industry experience will not be considered.
This position requires active selling while managing daily store operations and leading the sales team by example.
Responsibilities
- Actively sell furniture and mattresses while leading from the sales floor
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Train, coach, and supervise sales associates to meet sales and margin goals
- Enforce company policies, pricing guidelines, and sales standards
- Maintain showroom presentation, merchandising, signage, and pricing accuracy
- Handle escalated customer concerns professionally
- Review sales performance and operational compliance with ownership and upper management
Requirements (Mandatory – No Exceptions)
- Minimum of 3–5 years of furniture retail sales experience
- Prior experience in a selling management, floor manager, or store manager role within a furniture showroom
- Proven ability to close furniture sales and lead performance-driven teams
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- High level of accountability, professionalism, and reliability
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
