Furniture Row Marketing is looking for a Broadcast Media Manager!
Position Summary
The Broadcast Media Manager role provides strategic leadership and tactical execution of efficient, high performing media plans across multiple broadcast media platforms. The ideal candidate is a seasoned media professional with a deep understanding of the changing media landscape. The position manages media budgeting, planning, negotiating and procurement of broadcast media including traditional linear, OTT/CTV platforms, and streaming audio for multiple local DMAs.
This role requires strong negotiation experience, advanced analytical skills, and a track record of maximizing media investments. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly organized, data driven, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
Develop and execute comprehensive media plans aligned with company goals. Gather competitive market analysis and market trends to make informed strategic decisions. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage and build strong relationships with internal management, media partners, and others in the Media Department.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on audience and market data, lead the planning, negotiation, buying, and execution of media placements
- Monitor delivery and performance, deliver detailed post-buy reports, track KPIs and cost efficiency metrics, provide performance insights and continuously refine buying strategies
- Actively plan and place broadcast media multiple key DMA’s, including Denver
- Create annual media budget across all markets and continually forecast media Anticipate and monitor trends, media updates, and marketplace dynamics to maintain performance in rapidly evolving media landscape
- Directly manage and mentor media buying team in technical proficiency and strategic thinking
- Comprehensive knowledge of traditional linear TV, Radio, OTT/CTV platforms
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and relationship-building skills
- Eight or more years of media buying or media sales experience
- Must have proficiency in media ratings and planning tools such as Nielsen and Strata Media Software
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field (preferred)
