Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Minneapolis, MN, for a Property Tax Analyst. Property Tax Analysts are responsible for assisting in the review of commercial property tax assessments, conducting valuation research, preparing appeal filings, supporting settlement negotiations, and supporting or trial teams. Responsibilities include analyzing property data throughout multiple commercial and multi-family asset classes to support settlement negotiations with cities ans counties throuout Minnesota, extensive collaboration with clients, internal team members, commerical real estate brokers, and outside appraisal firms.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of commercial and multi-family real estate in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area
- Analytical Skills to evaluate property data and conduct valuation research
- Knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and principles specific to property tax
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate documentation and task management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred
- Experience in commercial property tax or related financial services is a plus
