Position Summary:
The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for our clients and their pets. This role provides exceptional customer service, manages reservations, and supports the smooth daily operations of the resort. A love for animals, strong communication skills, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Communication
- Greet clients and pets warmly upon arrival and departure.
- Provide information about daycare, lodging, grooming, and training services.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and messages promptly and professionally.
- Handle check-ins, check-outs, and reservations with accuracy.
- Communicate pet updates to clients as needed.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Process payments, invoices, and daily cash handling.
- Maintain client and pet records accurately in the reservation system.
- Confirm vaccinations and ensure compliance with resort policies.
- Prepare daily check-in/check-out sheets for staff.
- Assist with printing report cards, updating social media, or sending pet photos (as assigned).
Team Support
- Communicate pet details or special instructions to pet care staff.
- Support supervisors and management with scheduling updates and client follow-ups.
- Help with light cleaning of the lobby and front desk area to maintain a welcoming environment.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in customer service, reception, or the pet care industry preferred.
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with pets and people.
- Strong computer and phone etiquette.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for animals.
Physical & Schedule Requirements:
- Must be comfortable around dogs of all sizes and breeds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
