Job Summary
Furbaby Medical is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for both pets and their families.
This position focuses on client communication, appointment scheduling, and front desk operations, supporting a smooth and efficient workflow throughout the hospital.
Schedule
- 4-day work week
- Tuesday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Every other Saturday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
ResponsibilitiesClient Service
- Greet clients and their pets in a warm, professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service and create a positive first impression
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and assist with appointment requests
Scheduling & Workflow
- Schedule and confirm appointments to support efficient daily operations
- Manage appointment flow and help minimize wait times
- Coordinate communication between clients and the veterinary team
Administrative & Billing
- Process payments and handle invoicing accurately
- Maintain and update client and patient records
- Enter medical notes and documentation into the system
General Support
- Maintain a clean, organized reception and waiting area
- Assist with general clinic support tasks as needed
Qualifications Required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working around dogs and cats
Preferred
- Experience in a veterinary clinic, medical office, or customer service role
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology
- Experience with scheduling or practice management software
Compensation & Benefits
