In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our resort, providing exceptional service to our furry guests and their owners.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Facility Manager.
- Address employee and customer inquiries, resolving issues effectively.
- Monitor staffing needs and manage daily operations across all services (grooming, daycare, hotel, retail).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and manage retail sales to drive profits.
- Build lasting relationships with new customers and schedule services.
- Handle emergencies and incidents involving pets with professionalism.
- Support your team and maintain a positive work environment.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in staff management and retail.
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and professional experience with animals.
- Proficient in computer software and POS systems.
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to handle challenging situations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
**Requirements:**
- Availability to work weekends and some holidays.
- Must be on-call and ready to fill in for open positions.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
