Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and database architectures to support business needs.
- Lead data collection efforts by implementing effective ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using tools like Talend, Informatica, or custom Python scripts.
- Manage and optimize large datasets within data warehouses and big data environments, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, develop project plans, and execute tasks using Agile methodologies.
- Utilize SQL and Python to perform complex data analysis, generate reports, and create visualizations with Tableau for stakeholders.
- Implement linked data strategies to enhance data interoperability across platforms and improve data quality standards.
- Oversee database design activities in Oracle or similar systems while ensuring compliance with best practices in data management and security.
- Provide leadership in project management initiatives related to data infrastructure upgrades or new system implementations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with SQL databases such as Oracle or similar relational database systems.
- Strong proficiency in ETL tools like Talend or Informatica, complemented by Python scripting skills for automation and analysis tasks.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau for creating compelling dashboards and visual analytics solutions.
