Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface wiping to ensure homes are spotless and sanitized.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures effectively across various surfaces and areas within residential properties.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products safely to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Manage floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, and floor polishing to keep all flooring shining.
- Assist with outdoor work when necessary, such as patio or porch cleaning, ensuring the exterior of homes is tidy and inviting.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs, provide updates on work completed, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Practice manual handling techniques for heavy lifting or moving furniture safely during deep cleans or rearrangements.
- Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory and ensure all equipment is properly maintained for optimal performance.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills by completing assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, janitorial services, or housekeeping management is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, carpet cleaning methods, floor care techniques, and sanitation standards is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling of cleaning equipment ensures safe and effective work practices.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending, reaching, and outdoor work as needed.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple client homes.
