Fundamentals is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Tennessee. We are committed to providing culturally and linguistically responsive care to our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with bilingual individuals and their families and will help us expand our services to children in the community.

Position Details

  • Job Type: Part-time or Full-time
  • Location: Nashville, TN
  • Setting: Private Practice

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing assessments for a diverse caseload (for SLP).
  • Develop and implement culturally appropriate, individualized treatment plans that address patients’ specific needs and goals (for SLP).
  • Provide direct therapy and interventions, applying knowledge of bilingual language development and cross-linguistic transfer.
  • Educate and counsel families and caregivers to support communication development at home.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and team members to coordinate and optimize patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress.
  • Stay current with best practices in bilingual speech-language pathology through continuing education.

Qualifications

  • SLPA: Associate degree, SLPA certificate program, or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD).
  • SLP: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • SLP: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Valid Tennessee state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with bilingual populations is a plus to support our patient community.
