PRODUCTION and QUALITY CONTROL ASSISTANT
Pay: $20/hr
schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
Detail-oriented and dependable production professional responsible for setting up jobs, producing, inspecting, finishing, and packaging products while maintaining high quality standards. Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, ability to pass background/OIG/MVR checks, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ideal candidates have production, shipping, and receiving experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to teamwork, safety, and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and prepare production jobs according to specifications
- Complete production, finishing, and packaging tasks accurately and efficiently
- Perform quality inspections and identify defects or inconsistencies
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- 18 years or older with a High school diploma or equivalent required
- ability to pass required background, OIG, and MVR checks
- Able to perform physical movement, bending, reaching, turning, stooping and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Prior experience in a production, shipping and receiving
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office
