Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee specific areas of the shipping process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to company standards
- Support team members in performing shipping tasks such as picking and packing
- Work closely with other Shipping Supervisors and Shipping Manager to ensure smooth and efficient operations, including resource allocation and workflow optimization
- Analyze current operation and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cultivating innovation from team
- Drive engagement by creating an environment where people are motivated to do their best
- Maintain, promote, and enforce cleanliness and organization of department
- Implement and enforce quality control measures
- Monitor and track KPIs, and take corrective action as needed to meet department goals and targets
- Work with other departments, such as Customer Service and Global Logistics, to resolve shipping-related issues.
- Ensure proper functioning of equipment necessary to fulfillment process, enter tickets as necessary.
- Project and plan workload and labor needs for areas responsible, create and maintain employee schedules.
Requirements:
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of warehouse associates in the assigned areas of the department, providing guidance, training, and support
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities, ensuring equitable distribution of workload.
- Conduct status meetings and regular performance evaluations and provide feedback that is consistent to team members to support their professional development.
- Address any performance issues or conflicts with the team promptly and effectively, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Collaborate with other supervisors to coordinate schedules and coverage to meet operational needs.
Minimum Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma
- 1-3 years of leadership experience in a warehouse environment

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
