Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee specific areas of the shipping process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to company standards
• Support team members in performing shipping tasks such as picking and packing
• Work closely with other Shipping Supervisors and Shipping Manager to ensure smooth and efficient operations, including resource allocation and workflow optimization
• Analyze current operation and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cultivating innovation from team
• Drive engagement by creating an environment where people are motivated to do their best
• Maintain, promote, and enforce cleanliness and organization of department
• Implement and enforce quality control measures
• Monitor and track KPIs, and take corrective action as needed to meet department goals and targets
• Work with other departments, such as Customer Service and Global Logistics, to resolve shipping-related issues.
• Ensure proper functioning of equipment necessary to fulfillment process, enter tickets as necessary.
• Project and plan workload and labor needs for areas responsible, create and maintain employee schedules.

Requirements

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of warehouse associates in the assigned areas of the department, providing guidance, training, and support
• Allocate tasks and responsibilities, ensuring equitable distribution of workload.
• Conduct status meetings and regular performance evaluations and provide feedback that is consistent to team members to support their professional development.
• Address any performance issues or conflicts with the team promptly and effectively, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
• Collaborate with other supervisors to coordinate schedules and coverage to meet operational needs.

Minimum Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma
• 1-3 years of leadership experience in a warehouse environment

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve goals and exceed expectations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively provide information and actively listen to and consider input from others.

• No personal protective equipment required
• No driving or travel required (except order picker operation once certified)
