Job Summary
The Funcare Children's Learning Center Director is a passionate, energetic leader dedicated to fostering a nurturing, safe, and enriching environment for young children. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with licensing standards, and promote a culture of excellence in early childhood education. Your leadership will inspire staff, engage families, and support the developmental needs of children from infancy through preschool age. Duties

• Lead and supervise all center operations, ensuring a high standard of care and education for children.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote childhood development, early learning, and social-emotional growth.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on exceptional caregiving and classroom management.
• Maintain compliance with local licensing requirements, health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols and emergency procedures.
• Build strong relationships with families by communicating regularly about their child's progress and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Oversee classroom activities, ensuring effective behavior management, inclusive practices for children with disabilities or special needs, and engaging toddler and infant care routines.
• Manage administrative tasks such as budgeting, record keeping, staff scheduling, and maintaining a safe environment for all children and staff.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings.
• Strong background in classroom experience including behavior management and caregiving techniques.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage staff effectively and foster teamwork.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with children, families, staff, and community partners.
• Experience with classroom management tools and curriculum planning tailored to infants through preschool-aged children. Pay: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
