Job Summary
FS Staffing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Loss Prevention Supervisor to oversee daily Loss Prevention operations within a fast-paced distribution center environment. This role is responsible for supporting workplace safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with company policies, minimizing operational risks, and helping maintain a secure, safe, and productive facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and experience in warehouse or distribution center operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee and support daily Loss Prevention operations within the distribution center
- Enforce company safety policies, operational procedures, and Loss Prevention programs
- Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure compliance with established processes in partnership with Inventory Control teams
- Assist with scheduled, cycle, and periodic inventory audits
- Help maintain a safe working environment by identifying potential hazards and addressing safety concerns proactively
- Prepare employee schedules and assist in supervising workflow for Loss Prevention personnel
- Provide clear verbal and written direction to team members
- Assign daily responsibilities and review completed work for accuracy, efficiency, and policy compliance
- Support employee training related to theft prevention, workplace safety, and company procedures
- Assist with investigations involving theft, workplace incidents, policy violations, or safety concerns
- Document incidents, investigations, and Loss Prevention activities accurately and professionally
- Respond to employee concerns and assist in resolving operational or safety-related issues
- Collaborate with management to improve facility security and safety performance
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in Loss Prevention, Safety, Security, or Distribution Center operations preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and Loss Prevention practices
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, inventory procedures, and reporting tools preferred
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
