Job Title: Material Handler
Pay Rate: $17.50/hr.
Shift: 1st

Job Overview: We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse and production operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and shipping materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in accordance with company safety policies.
- Receive, inspect, unload, and accurately store incoming raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Stage materials for production based on daily manufacturing schedules to ensure continuous operations.
- Pick, prepare, and stage finished goods for outbound customer shipments.
- Load and unload trucks while verifying product quantities and preventing damage during handling.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Process inventory transactions using an ERP or Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety regulations.
- Ensure all materials are properly labeled, identified, and stored in designated warehouse locations.
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies to warehouse leadership.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate potential shortages to support uninterrupted production.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
- Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
- Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of GMP and food safety practices is preferred for manufacturing environments
