MANAGER OF OUTPATIENT REHABILITATIION SERVICES
Manages the daily operations of rehabilitative services at Henry Ford outpatient locations in Grand Blanc, Fenton, and Burton while maintaining an active role in patient care. Seeking an individual that will bring energy, creativity, and strong leadership to drive clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and an exceptional patient experience.
- Responsibilities: Develops specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
- Assesses quality of patient care and coordinates services with patients and healthcare providers.
- Manages staff relations and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
- Oversees departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree or higher is required
One or more of the following is required:
- Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) licensed in the state of MI and certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) licensed in the state of MI and credentialed from the Michigan Board of Physical Therapy.
- Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Michigan Board of Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) OR American Red Cross obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
