JOIN THE CREW! Full Sail Brewing Company is looking to hire Packaging Specialists to join our weekend graveyard shift.
As a Packaging Specialist you will learn to operate a variety of bottling, canning and kegging machines in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. You will also learn and support the team in maintaining Safety and Quality standards.
Essential Functions
- Work as part of a team and complete tasks as assigned on the production floor
- Operate machinery and equipment – Loading and unloads items from machines and conveyors
- Monitor and inspect products for quality and safety standards
- Transfer finished products or raw materials between storage and work areas by hand or using hand trucks or powered lift trucks
- Communicate with supervisors and leads concerning safety, quality, and processing issues
- Remove products, machine attachments, or waste material from machines as directed
- Provide cleaning and sanitation of assigned areas
- Responsible for the health and safety of self and co-workers
Available Shifts
30-day Training Schedule: Swing Shift 4x10s - Mon - Thurs; 4:00 pm - 2:30 am (training scheduled is flexible if needed)
Regular Schedule: Grave Shift 3 x 12s - FRI - SUN 6:00 pm - 6:30 am (last 2 hours of each shift are paid at time and a half)
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have previous experience working in a manufacturing environment and operating machinery.
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be flexible in scheduling and willing to work overtime and holidays as needed
- Ability to work successfully with a team
- Ability to understand and communicate instructions in English
- This is an active, fast paced, job requiring working on your feet most of the shift with occasional to frequent lifting of 20 to 35 pounds
- Must be able to stand for a long period of time, climb, reach, walk, lift, grasp, feel, bend and twist
- Must have the ability to perform repetitive tasks quickly and accurately.

Compensation:
- Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour base pay ($22.27 average hourly rate with premium pay and built in OT on Graveyard)
- Increases: 90-day wage increases

Hours worked during the following windows will receive premium pay as follows:
- 5:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.: Earn an additional 10% per hour.
- 1:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m.: Earn an additional 15% per hour.
- All hours on Saturday and Sunday: Earn an additional 15% per hour.
