What You’ll Do
Fujitsu salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each situation. The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at $156,800 to $224,000 USD. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short-term incentive based on company results and individual performance.

- Research & Prototype: Design and implement ML algorithms that autonomously improve themselves, tackling sophisticated computer vision, language and reasoning tasks.
- Demonstrate Impact: Show algorithmic breakthroughs across complex benchmarks with minimal training data.
- Publish & Present: Publish in top-tier journals and conferences; present findings in academic and industry forums.
- Translate to Impact: Develop tools and deployment strategies to integrate your research into real-world, sustainability-focused projects.
- Ph.D. in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven track record of original ML research—publications, novel methods, or standout projects.
- Strong independent thinker capable of driving a research agenda through long-term projects.
- Collaborative mindset—thrives working with academic and deployment teams.
- Experience in interdisciplinary research and collaborations.
- Mentorship experience (guiding students or early‑career researchers).
