What are the responsibilities and job description for the Growth Manager, Partnerships & Affiliate position at Fuel Meals?
We're looking for a sharp, commercially minded partnerships operator to own Fuel Meals' full ecosystem of affiliate and brand relationships. This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to build something, not maintain it — someone who sees partners as genuine growth levers and knows how to activate them.
THE ROLE
You will have end-to-end ownership of the partnerships function — from building the strategy to signing the deals to tracking what's actually working. You're not inheriting a polished program; you're building the playbook while running it.
This role sits within Marketing and works closely with Creative and Brand. You'll be the connective tissue between Fuel Meals and the external partners who represent us.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Affiliate Program
- Scout, recruit, and onboard affiliates who are a genuine fit for the Fuel Meals brand
- Build and manage commission structures, tracking links, and payout workflows
- Own performance reviews — cut what isn't working, double down on what is
- Manage platforms such as Impact, PartnerStack, or similar
Brand & Strategic Partnerships
- Identify and pursue mutually beneficial brand partnerships — co-marketing, co-branded campaigns, cross-promotions
- Negotiate and close deals that are built on shared value, not just short-term exposure
- Build long-term relationships that compound over time
Lifecycle & Operations
- Run the full partnership lifecycle: outreach → negotiation → contracts → sample fulfillment → content tracking → payout → review
- Create and maintain the operational infrastructure — templates, SOPs, tracking systems
- Report on partnership performance to Marketing leadership with clear insights and recommendations
WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
This is not an account management role where you're keeping partners happy and renewing contracts on autopilot. It's not a channel that runs itself. And it's not execution without strategy.
This is a builder seat. You'll be working from a blank page in some areas, and you should find that exciting.
WHO YOU ARE
- You have 3–6 years of experience in partnerships, affiliate marketing, or business development — ideally in DTC, food, health, or a consumer brand
- You know how to find the right partners, pitch mutual value, and close without being pushy
- You're operationally rigorous — you don't drop the ball on fulfillment, contracts, or payouts
- You're comfortable with ambiguity and can create structure where there isn't any
- You think in terms of long-term relationship value, not just first-deal metrics
- You're a strong communicator — externally with partners, internally with the team
- Experience with affiliate platforms (Impact, CJ, PartnerStack, ShareASale) is a plus

- Quality and growth of the active partner roster
- Revenue and new customer acquisition attributed to partnerships
- Partner retention and satisfaction
- Operational completeness — payouts on time, contracts in order, content tracked
